We will be reading Indian Creek Chronicles by Pete Fromm, which is largely a love letter to Indian Creek. Students are to write to a place, personifying that place, as if that place were to physically check the mail and read the letter itself. Students will have an entire class period to draft their letters and are expected to come to class, ready to read their letter to a coach and receive feedback on how to make their writing stronger.
