Chelsea Franke

Chelsea Franke is pursuing her BA in Communication Studies at the University of Montana, where she will graduate in the spring of 2026. Before returning to higher education, Chelsea served as Executive Director of a nonprofit organization supporting early childhood education and family engagement in northwest Montana. Her time in leadership deepened her appreciation for how strong communication and community connection can foster meaningful learning experiences. Chelsea has long been passionate about education, literacy, and the power of effective communication. She is especially drawn to nonprofit work that amplifies rural voices and strengthens local communities. Chelsea lives with her family on 160 acres in the Yaak, where she enjoys homesteading, trying new recipes, traveling, and reading. She believes that every story—whether written or spoken—has the power to build understanding and inspire change.
