Marko Capoferri

Missoula & Ravalli County Coordinator
Marko Capoferri is a poet, musician, journalist, and educator based in Missoula. Originally from New Jersey, he has lived and worked in every corner of the U.S. as a conservation worker, and more recently earned his BA and MFA in creative writing from the University of Montana where he currently works as a consultant at the UM Writing Center. His writing has appeared in such local outlets as Bugle, The Pulp, Camas, Missoula Valley Lifestyle, and Flathead Valley Lifestyle, and he regularly teaches poetry classes for the Missoula Writing Collaborative and at Missoula’s Lifelong Learning Center. He believes that language is our most advanced technology. He is excited to join Writing Coaches of Montana in their mission to help students think creatively and communicate clearly.
